Scotland on Sunday is a Scottish Sunday newspaper, published in Edinburgh by The Scotsman Publications Ltd and consequently assuming the role of Sunday sister to its daily stablemate The Scotsman. It is printed in broadsheet format.

Whilst technically being Scotland's most right-leaning Scottish Sunday quality, it's editorial policy has seen it take a very pro-Union stance, as evidenced by the repeated attacks on the Scottish National Party, who form Scotland's devolved government. At one time there was a true diversity in its line which made it more akin to centrist politics; this was visible in the variety of the stances taken by columns within the Insight opinion section.
