Cruzeiro do Sul is the largest newspaper of Sorocaba city, São Paulo, Brazil. It was founded on June 12, 1903, the brothers Firmino Joaquim Pires de Camargo (Nho Quim Pires) and João Clímaco Pires de Camargo. He began his movement in the same year and initially had four pages, with circulation bi-weekly. It is owned by Ubaldino do Amaral Foundation-FUA, which is the sponsor.
